1. Full refunds for unused purchases
Request a full refund within 14 calendar days of payment if no paid credits from that purchase have been consumed. This covers initial subscription payments, renewals for unused billing periods and one-time credit packs.
An unused period means no paid credits granted for that period have been consumed; an unused pack means none of its credits have been consumed. Time remaining in a partly used period is not a promise of an automatic prorated refund. Tell us about pending generations: a temporary credit reservation is not a final usage charge and must be resolved.
2. Used purchases and consumer rights
Used purchases are reviewed under applicable consumer law, purchase terms and payment-provider rules. Usage does not automatically remove a statutory withdrawal right or rights concerning a defective or non-conforming service.
Some digital-service and digital-content purchases carry a 14-day withdrawal right. Any exception or charge for performance already supplied must meet legal requirements, including required express requests, consent and acknowledgment. Signing in, generating a video or accepting these terms is not treated by Kagenami as a blanket waiver.
Paddle purchases are also governed by its Buyer Terms and Refund Policy. Our unused-credit condition does not reduce mandatory rights or prevent a refund Paddle authorises.
3. Requesting a refund
Email denys@kagenami.com with your account email, payment date and receipt or transaction identifier. Specify the subscription or credit pack. A reason helps investigate problems but is not required for a statutory withdrawal without a reason. Do not send full card details or identity documents.
For Paddle payments, you can also request a refund through Paddle buyer support. For another provider, use its receipt and contact us. Sandbox or demo transactions involve no real money to refund.
4. Cancelling a subscription
Cancellation stops future renewals. Use the management link in your receipt or billing portal, or contact denys@kagenami.com; Paddle buyer support can help with Paddle purchases. Cancel before the next renewal to prevent the charge.
Without a refund, access normally continues until the paid period ends. Cancellation does not automatically refund a payment. Account deletion is separate; cancel the subscription first or ask support for help.
5. Technical failures and duplicate charges
A technical generation failure returns or releases its credit charge. Cancelling a generation charges confirmed completed work and releases the rest. These are credit adjustments, not cash refunds.
Contact us about duplicate payments, missing purchased credits or technical inability to use the paid service. We investigate and provide correction, re-performance, a price reduction or refund as appropriate and required by law.
6. Processing and account effects
Approved refunds go through the original payment provider, normally to the original payment method. Bank and provider processing times vary. We do not substitute credits for a cash refund you are entitled to.
A refund can revoke the corresponding credits or paid access. For refunds after usage, we explain the credit-balance effect; this does not authorise an automatic additional card charge or limit mandatory rights.
